Capturing Moments, Crafting Memories

Joe Link has had a passion for photography for most of his life, starting with a Kodak Brownie at age 7, which he still owns.

Joe worked as a New York and Washington editor for McGraw-Hill, now S&P Global, for 31 years, specializing in electronic delivery of energy market news and price information. He also edited energy stories for eight years with Bloomberg News in New York.

Joe retired from his full-time editing roles in 2022. He now works part time as a website editor for the Northeastern Chemical Association. He’s also a member of the New Jersey Astronomical Association (NJAA) and of the William D. McDowell Observatory in Lyndhurst, NJ. He edits the quarterly Journal of the NJAA.

Travel around the world gave Joe an opportunity to expand his photographic skills. He has visited countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Joe recently became interested in astro photography, and you’ll now find him wherever the skies are dark.
